Javier Espinosa

After graduating from University of Córdoba (Spain) in 2014, Javier completed a 2-month externship at the Freie Universität of Berlin (Germany). Shortly afterwards, Javier obtained a scholarship to complete a rotating internship at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital of Chillán (UdeC Chillán), University of Concepción, followed by a graduation project, achieving the Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Concepción (Chile) in 2015.

Following these experiences, Javier then worked for 2 and a half years in a first opinion practice in Sevilla, Almería (Spain) and Gibraltar (UK).

Subsequently, Javier completed a general internship followed by a neurology internship at the referral hospital, Indautxu in Bilbao (Spain), where he stayed as part of the neurology service afterwards. In June 2021, he then joined Pride Veterinary Referrals to complete a neurology internship. Javier is now currently undertaking a three-year ECVN Neurology and Neurosurgery Residency.

Outside of work, Javier loves to travel. He also enjoys reading, outdoor activities, cooking and spending time with his family and friends.

Javier is also interested in wildlife conservation and has been volunteering and attending veterinary courses in Perú, India and South Africa.
