Maria graduated from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2015. She then undertook a rotating internship at Hospital Clinic Veterinari HCV-UAB. After working as an emergency vet and in first opinion practice in the UK, she completed a residency program at HCV-UAB from 2019 - 2022. Maria became a European Veterinary Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2023.
She then joined Pride Veterinary Referrals in November 2023. Her clinical interests include infectious, renal and endocrine diseases.
Maria enjoys hiking and long walks with her dog Juke, who was rescued from a shelter in Spain. She also enjoys cooking and travelling. Maria also has a rescue cat called Thai who loves to spend all her time with doggy brother, Juke.
