Specialists presented at London Vet Show

Ana Del Alamo Foster, American Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia and Carlo Anselmi, European Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging delivered two insightful lectures at the London Vet Show on Thursday 11th November. 

Ana's lecture titled 'The Adventure of BOAS Anaesthesia', talked about the critical moments of anaesthesia and analgesia and provided delegates with tips on how to make it safer and explored options on how to manage recovery.

Carlo's lecture explored 'JAUNDICE: Diagnostic Imaging'. Jaundice (icterus) has a plethora of causes. Points explored consisted of; diagnostic imaging modalities: which one(s) for icterus conditions, examples of diagnostic imaging findings in icteric patients, how to differentiate pathological and non-pathological organs related to jaundice and examples of US-guided sampling techniques.
