Victoria Roberts

Resident in Small Animal Surgery

Victoria Roberts
Victoria Roberts BSc BVSc PGDip(VCP) MRCVS Resident in Small Animal Surgery

Vicky graduated from The University of Bristol in 2014 with distinction. After graduation, she worked in mixed practice for a year in Devon before moving to Cornwall to focus on small animals and further her surgical skills alongside a certificate holder in Surgery.

When the opportunity arose to join a large hospital in Bristol working alongside a multi-disciplinary referral team, she couldn’t turn it down. She spent 2 years as a member of the first opinion team and working alongside the team of rotating interns. Vicky then managed to obtain a position at the Royal Veterinary College as a rotating intern, where completed a post-graduate diploma in Veterinary Clinical Practice. Having successfully completed a rotating internship then completed an internship in Orthopaedic and Soft Tissue Surgery. Vicky finally moved to Pride Veterinary Centre in 2020 as part of the Surgery Referrals team to begin a 3 year ECVS approved surgery residency.

Vicky is interested in all areas of Orthopaedic and Soft Tissure surgery but has a particular interest in wound management, multi-trauma cases and emergency soft tissue surgery.

In Vicky’s final placement at the RSPCA harmsworth before finishing her Veterinary degree she met a little abandoned staffie cross pup, Jazz, who has been by her side ever since. When Vicky isn’t in work she can often be found getting lost somewhere in the countryside with Jazz and her husband in tow.

Vicky also enjoys baking, photography and spending time with her ever growing extended family.
